Insomnia Cookies Opens On Clayton Street

Just what hungry students and pregnant women want: a late night cookie delivery service.

Wait a minute? What's that fragrance? It smells like holidays, like your grandmother's kitchen, like the day you and your mom spent together baking.

Oh, it's the warm, comforting aroma of chocolate, brown sugar and cinnamon.

And as the door to Insomnia Cookies opened on Clayton Street late Thursday afternoon, the smell of baking cookies wafted out onto the sidewalk, and customers walked into the cookie laden room. There were stacks of cookies and vats of ice cream waiting for them. And of course, milk.

Chocolate chunk. Oatmeal Raisin. Sugar, Snickerdoodle. S’mores. The store also offers brownies with toppings such as Mint Chocolate, White Chocolate Chip, and Snickers.

Serve U Brands owns the cookie baking and delivery service, which is already established in the Northeast and Midwest. Someone at Insomnia Cookies will bring hot cookies to your door, with ice cream, until the early morning hours. Or you can just stop in and buy some yourself.

You'll be able to find it on Clayton Street by the aroma.
