The workshops all presented essential techniques to teach students how to polish their personal brand. During The Art of Pitching workshop, Amy Flurry, a PR professional, shared tips on how to craft the perfect pitch and handed out copies of her published book, “Recipe For Press”.

During Lucas Jensen’s e-portfolio workshop, students learned the importance of maintaining a strong online presence as young professionals. Jensen illustrated the value of appropriately branding yourself on social media and keeping up with the growing trends in technology. The digital portfolio workshop emphasized the expectation for millennials to be fully adapted into our thriving online world.

Students learned basic skills on Adobe Photoshop and InDesign from Reagan Fromm and Megan Arnold, PRSSA seniors. Finally, students received resume critiques and mock interviews from esteemed Grady College professors, Dr. Bryan Reber and Dr. Barry Hollander.

Branding Bootcamp gave participants the chance to learn vital skills that are not typically taught in a classroom setting. Students who had the chance to participate bolstered their credibility as young professionals preparing to enter the workforce.
