Apple Fans Line up for iPhone 5 – Buckhead Patch

Gregory Wood and his wife Jennifer Johnson were in line at the Apple Store at Lenox Square around 6:30 a.m. Friday, hoping to score a new iPhone 5. Around 9 a.m., they were still waiting, but were within minutes of getting their hands on the newest iPhone, which hit stores Friday, Sept. 21.

– Marietta Patch

Even though an anti-Obama message has been taken down from a local bar sign, people still showed up this weekend to protest.

It was a peaceful event Saturday at Mulligan’s Food and Spirits with about 20 protesters—organized by Marietta-based New Order National Human Rights Organization Inc.—showing up, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.

A sign, which read “I Heard The White House Smelled Like Collard Greens And Fried Chicken,” was just the latest controversial statement at the bar on Park Street Southeast in Marietta.
