'Love Worth Fighting For' Message Comes to Oconee County on Saturday

"Love Worth Fighting For," a Christian-based conference Feed Your Faith Ministries says is "designed to strengthen and encourage your marriage," is coming to Oconee County this weekend.

Saturday's event at Prince Avenue Baptist Church will be led by actor Kirk Cameron, star of "Fireproof" and the "Left Behind" series, and will feature musician Warren Barfield.

In 2013, there are plans for the conference to make 30 stops in 30 cities across the Southeast.

The event at PACS is one of only two tour stops in Georgia this month.  The other takes place on Sunday in the Carrollton High School Auditorium in Carrollton.

Prince Avenue Baptist posted on its Facebook Page that the church no longer has tickets available for Saturday, but some general admission tickets -- ranging in price from a group discount rate of $20 to $22.50 for an individual -- may still be purchased online at www.feedyourfaith.org.  

The conference begins at 6 p.m. Those with VIP tickets may enter at 4 p.m. and doors open for all others at 5 p.m.
