The adjustment, is that a good name? It arrives just in time to provide more sunshine for getting out in the yard and doing a little gardening after you've shaken off the perpetual groggy feeling you'll experience after having that hour stolen from you.

Makes me want to move to Arizona, where, by gum, nobody saves any daylight and the gummit ain't goin' to tell us how to protect our clocks, or our borders. That's why they have those Minute Men, right?

Time was when Daylight Savings Time started, well, most any time. In January, February or whenever someone thought it should. Now, though, the times are pretty standard, in March and November.

But all isn't rosy. There are some people so peeved about Daylight Savings Time that they have started a petition to abolish it.

Humm. Bet they aren't gardeners or children who like to play outside....
