Author Visit with Harmon Snipes for A PRAYING MAN

Please join us for an author visit with Harmon Snipes for his suspense/thriller, A  Praying Man, on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 6:30pm.

ABOUT THE BOOK:
When people he cares for are injured or killed, Jack Crandall knows his past has found him. Detective Paul Brennan suspects Crandall is not forthcoming about that past.

To protect his family Crandall returns to his hometown on a crusade that takes him into a dark world of drugs, prostitution and sex slavery. Meanwhile Brennan uncovers a deadly secret about Crandall and discovers others are also in danger.
A  Praying Man, is a story of revenge, retribution and redemption.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: 

HARMON SNIPES was born and raised in the 1950’s and 60’s in Mobile, Alabama. His father was a career police officer who rose to the rank of Captain and head of the Detective Bureau. In 1970 he was drafted into the United States Army and decided to volunteer for Special Forces.

Over the next six years he spent time on two Special Forces A-Teams which included a stint in Southeast Asia. After discharge he attended the University of South Alabama receiving a B.S. Degree in Computer Science.He began writing in earnest in 2002 and volunteered to facilitate a writers group at the local Barnes and Noble. His time in the writers group allowed him to interface with several authors. The best advice he received about writing was from a best-selling author at a book signing who said, “write what you enjoy otherwise it’s work.”

Harmon has lived and worked in Norcross, Georgia for the past twenty-five years. He is married and has two children and two grandchildren. He enjoys college football, making home brewed beer and playing with his grandsons.
