7.5K Junkyard Jog/Rubbage Ride/Pump Track AND YARD SALE!

Mark your calendar for November 10, 2012Keep Athens-Clarke County Beautiful is celebrating eleven years of the popular Junk Yard Jog with a 7.5K run, a Rubbage Ride Mountain Bike Trail, a  “Jump the Junk” Pump Track and new this year a Trash to Treasure Yard sale! Runners, bikers, and treasurer seekers from all around the state are encouraged to come out for this fun event! Join us at the Athens-Clarke County Landfill, located at 5700 Lexington Hwy in Athens, Georgia, on Saturday November 10th.  The Little Landfill 1 mile Fun Run begins at 8:30 am, followed by the Junk Yard Jog 7.5K at 9:00 am with a Rubbage Ride and Pump Track at 10:30 am. We are also partnering with Bike Athens and Soles for Souls so be sure to bring your used shoes and old bikes for our America Recycles Day recycling drive!
