Fixing a Leaky Toilet - Home Water Conservation Workshop

 ,   Add to calendar
780 Barber St Athens GA 30601  See map

The Water Conservation Office is offering two workshops to accommodate almost anyone’s schedule.  The weekday workshop is on Tuesday, December 4 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.  The weekend workshop is on Saturday December 8, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.  The workshops are free, but space is limited so registration is required.

Leaks account for almost 10% of the water used in the average American home, and toilets are biggest culprit. Toilet leaks can range from small to large, constant or random. Many are even silent. Even a small, silent leak can easily waste at least $50 per year in water and sewer costs. Large leaks can waste much more. Fortunately, most toilet leaks are relatively easy to fix. At this workshop residents of Athens will learn how to identify a leaky toilet, how to identify the source of the leak, and how to repair it.

To register go to www.thinkatthesink.com or contact the Athens-Clarke County Water Conservation Office at savewater@athensclarkecounty.com or 706-613-3729.

We are so thankful for the recognition and this kind article. Our friend Mary Charles Howard'sRead More company did the landscaping and we are so pleased with the results. Sincerely, Janet Geddis, owner Avid Bookshop
