Mother and son duo kick off Athens' 2013 literary season
The Georgia Review presents a reading by acclaimed poet and prose writer Marianne Boruch, who is touring the state as part of the annual Georgia Poetry Circuit. She is the author of seven books of poetry, most recently The Book of Hours (2011), and a memoir, The Glimpse Traveler (2011). Her son, UGA Creative Writing graduate student Will Dunlap, will serve as the evening's opening reader, making this a rare and special mother-son literary event.
Marianne Boruch teaches in the creative writing program at Purdue University and also in the low-residency Warren Wilson College Program for Writers.
