Petzone Doggie Expo at Terrapin Beer Co

Petzone is a local non-profit no-kill shelter for dogs located on Atlanta Highway in Athens and they desperately need our help. Here’s your chance to help out our canine friends!

Our fundraising event is sure to be a blast for pups and their humans alike. You’ll get to visit with some adoptable pups patiently waiting on their forever home, bid in a silent auction, nibble on food, and more! Snap the perfect holiday photo with Santa and pooch!

We ask that visitors bring unopened dog food to donate to the pups for the holidays. Donations are encouraged, greatly appreciated, and directly benefit Petzone Dog Rescue. Live music by Emily McCannon and the Smokin’ Hot Band. Pint glasses starting at $10. Don’t forget we now have tented warmth for the chilly winter nights!

Petzone is a non-profit dog shelter that rescues last-chance dogs from area animal control facilities. In addition to the shelter, Petzone offers an on-site adoption center, full- and self-service grooming services, a thrift store, and low-cost veterinary services. The shelter houses the dogs in a ‘doggie daycare’ environment; dogs are not kept in individual kennels but in large indoor enclosures in packs.
