Stomp Out Domestic Violence

Seven teams representing the Athens-Clarke County community will stomp the stage in a step competition on December 2 at the Classic Center. Project Safe, Athens-Clarke and surround counties’ resource for ending domestic violence, is continuing its campaign to create awareness through a lively step competition, Stomp Out Domestic Violence.


Now in its second year, Project Safe’s Stomp Out Domestic Violence event will serve as the launch for a new teen initiative and texting line, Breaking Silence. This resource will be available at all times for teens experiencing or with questions about teen dating violence.


Tickets for Stomp Out Domestic Violence are on sale now at the Classic Center. Community member are invited to vote for their favorite step team at http://www.project-safe.org/index.php?id=30. Voting is now open and will remain open until the end of the event.
