UGA Nutrition Study

Attention Parents!

The UGA Department of Foods and Nutrition is currently seeking participants for new research on bone health and growth in adolescents. For this study, we will enroll healthy 9-13 year old white females. The study will last 4 weeks and participants will visit our laboratory in Dawson Hall for a total of two weekend morning appointments. Participants will receive bone scans that contain a low x-ray and provide information on bone strength and body composition. Blood sample will be required and participants receive a $50 payment. To find out if your child qualifies, please call the UGA Bone Clinic today at 706-542-4918!
