Free Screening of Trashed with Reception

Join us for a free reception and screening of the documentary TRASHED on Tuesday, November 12th at Ciné in downtown Athens co-sponsored by EcoFocus Film Festival and Athens-Clarke County Recycling Division, and organized by students from the University of Georgia.

We buy it, we bury it, we burn it, and then we ignore it. Does anyone think about what happens to all the trash we produce? TRASHED features Jeremy Irons, who sets out on a hopeful journey to discover the extent and effects of the global waste problem as he travels around the world to destinations tainted by pollution.
