Homebuyer Education Workshops - October 19th and 26th.

The homebuyer education workshop will take place on Saturday, October 19th and Saturday, October 26th from 12:30 to 4:30

The October Homebuyer Education Workshops will be the last workshops offered in 2013, they will resume again in 2014!


Attendance is required at BOTH sessions in order to earn a Homebuyer Education Certificate, which is necessary for many affordable housing and loan programs.

What’s Included
Our homebuyer education seminars are offered FREE of charge, thanks in part to financial assistance from local banks. Guest speakers include local realtors, bankers, and closing attorneys.


Topics include:


  • Steps to homeownership
  • Home finances and financing
  • Local real estate market
  • Affordable housing options
  • Closing the mortgage loan
  • Energy conservation
  • Maintaining your home
  • Financial literacy
  • Credit issues/credit report
