Jingle Davis and Benjamin Galland: Meet the Author & Photographer of ISLAND TIME

Avid Bookshop is hosting a book signing in celebration of Island Time: An Illustrated History of St. Simons Island, Georgia on Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Come to the bookshop to meet author Jingle Davis and photographer Benjamin Galland in a cozy neighborhood bookshop!

In lively narrative, quotes, and anecdotes, Davis and Galland illuminate the island’s storied past in a coffee table book designed to inform, entertain, and delight a wide range of readers. The book features more than two hundred contemporary photographs, historical images, and maps. There currently is not an illustrated, comprehensive, and well-researched history of St. Simons Island. Island Time is an essential book for people interested in the Georgia coast, including the twenty thousand year-round residents and countless visitors.
