Miss Future Star Pageant (Athens, Division)

Athens, Oconee, Winder, and surrounding area's. (free to general public to attend show, contest must pay to register/compete @ www.jasminejohnsonedu.net/missfuturestar

Miss Future Star is an annual Pageant designed to give today’s young women (ages 2-16) the opportunity to showcase their natural beauty and talent in front of industry professionals. Aspiring models, beginners and experienced beauty queens are welcomed to participate. Our goal is empower and encourage each contestant to pursue their dreams.

To win the title of Miss Future Star contestants will be judged on fashion, stage presence,  interview skills, runway walk, performance, and best photo.

Entry Fee: $75 early-bird registration fee, $100 regular price. Includes participation in all categories.

Entrants must qualify for one of the following age categories by show date:

Mini-Miss Future Ages 2-3
Lil Miss Future Star Ages 4-6
Young Miss Future Star-Ages 7-10
Pre-teen Miss Future Star-Ages 11-13
Teen Miss Future Star-Ages 14-16

Note: we may combine any age group with less than 5 participants

Prizes:

ULTIMATE GRAND SUPREME
The contestant  with the highest combined overall score will win a large rhinestone crown, satin banner,   $100 gift certificate, and cover of MFS Calendar. (Athens, Ga grand supreme winner entry fee forMFS Atlanta will automatically be waived).

1st Place: Crown, Sash, Trophy, Beauty Gift Bag, & Gift certificate to local restaurant
2nd Place: Crown, Sash, Trophy, and Beauty Gift Bag
3rd Place:  Trophy, Sash, and Beauty Gift Bag

Competition Categories

WEAR
Constants will need to select 3 different looks: Formal Gown, Professional look,

PHOTOGENIC
Photos will be judged on facial beauty, overall appeal and quality of the photo. One photogenic is paid with your entry fee. You can enter up to 3 photo’s but only 1 of your the best photo will be selected and scored. Please submit a 8×10 head, quarter or full body shot. There will be a photogenic winner in each age division and winners will receive placement in Miss Future Star 2015 Calendar.

Talent/Interview
Contestants will be required  to learn a choreographed group routine for Miss Future Star Pageant. Participants may also choose to create and perform their own (singing, dancing, juggling, poetry, all talent welcomed).  A pre-show rehearsal will be held on day of the event. 

Participants will also have 1-2 interview questions and will be judged on speaking skills and personality.

Requirements:
Must live within Georgia and available for local appearances over a 12 month period.
