USA Triathlon Youth Splash and Dash

The USAT Youth Splash and Dash Aquathlon Series hosts 40 events as part of the nationwide series. We are thrilled to have one of those events right here in Athens, Georgia, hosted by USA Triathlon & the Athens YWCO.

The goal of our event is to introduce youth ages 6 to 15 to the world of multisport. This is a beginner-friendly event with a focus on participation. There will no age group awards but we will have special prizes. We will have “swim angels” and lifeguards. Participants will receive t-shirts, finisher medals and healthy post race snacks from Earth Fare Athens.

This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and follows the “age up” rule. Participants race they age they are on 12/31/2013 so a 6-year-old who turns 7 in September races as a 7-year-old.
