Athens Group Asks for School Supply Donations
An organization in Athens is collecting school supplies for children in need.
The Athens organization Strong, Beautiful, and Godly Girls Inc. is asking people to donate school supplies.
According to OnlineAthens, supplies will benefit homeless or disabled students and students living in domestic violence safe houses.
Here is a list of needed supplies:
- Book bags
- Notebook paper
- Pencils and sharpeners
- Pens
- Erasers
- Glue sticks
- Scissors
- Binders
- Notebooks
- Folders
- Rulers
- Pencil cases
- Calculators
- Tabbed dividers
- New or gently-used school uniforms
The deadline for donations is July 30.
