Come and meet other moms experiencing similar joys and challenges! The Athens Mothers' Center (AMC) is a great way for you and your children to make new friends and develop a local support network!
AMC is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 and is part of the National Association of Mothers' Centers. We believe that each mother needs to know that she is not alone. She has friends who care about the job she is doing and how she is feeling.
We offer discussion and activity groups, parenting education, social events (including a Dad's night out!), and information about community resources.
AMC meets Tuesdays & Fridays from 9:30-11:30am at St. Gregory's Espicopal Church; however, we are a non-denominational, non-political group. Dads are welcome on Friday's!
Open enrollment is welcome anytime, year-round, so join us when you can or just drop by for a tour to see what we’re all about. Tours are available anytime during AMC hours. Just ask to speak with a coordinator.
