Company to Recruit Certified Nursing Assistants on August 26th
The event is being done at the Georgia Department of Labor's Athens Career Center.
The Georgia Department of Labor’s Athens Career Center will help Southern Companions recruit workers on Monday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the career center, at 105 Evelyn C. Neely Drive.
According to a GDOL press release, the company will be recruiting full-time, part-time and live-in certified nursing assistants (CNA). The jobs will be located in the home of patients across northeast Georgia.
The CNA positions require a minimum of 12-months experience and a current Georgia CNA license. Training in first aid and CPR is required, and the candidate must have had a tuberculosis shot within the past 12 months. All applicants must have reliable transportation and will be required to complete a background check and drug-screening test.
All applicants must bring a resume, cover letter and be appropriately dressed for interviews. Salaries for the positions will vary depending on experience and will be discussed during the interviews.
