Obituary for Clarence Harper, 92, of Winterville
Mr. Harper was a native of Oglethorpe County.
Clarence C. Harper, 92, of Winterville, GA passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013.
A native of Oglethorpe County in Georgia, Mr. Harper was the son of the late Bunnie Lewis Harper, Sr., and Walla Mae Draper Harper. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Harper and Bunnie Lewis Harper, Jr., and by sisters, Irine Harper, Julie Harper, Sybil Connally, Anne Harper English, and Mary Bond. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a self-employed landscaper.

Survivors include his former wife, Annette Harper; his daughter, Elaine Harper of Apollo Beach, FL; his companion, Sara “Kay” Young, and his brothers, Wallace Wayne Harper and Bobby Ray Harper.
Graveside services will be held 3PM Sunday, May 19t,h at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev Chris Wrenn officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM prior to the service at Bernstein Funeral Home.
