Mildred Johnston Faulkner, 91, went home to Heaven Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
Born in Ft. Myers, Florida, Mrs. Faulkner spent most of her life in Atlanta, GA and was the daughter of the late Henry and Ruby Ferris Johnston and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Faulkner. She was a retired Administrator with the State of Georgia Purchasing Department and a member of Heritage Hill Baptist Church in Conyers, GA.
Survivors include daughters, Gail Faulkner Lebengood and Patricia C. Faulkner both of Athens; sister, George Ann Colley of Lake Charles, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Linda Gail Fogg, Adrian Elaine Crabtree, Michael Jerald Etheridge, Kelly Suzanne Strength, and Charles Richard Etheridge; nine great-grandchildren, Thomas James Buckler, Sarah Elaine Buckler, Benjamin Charles Crabtree, Douglas Scott Anderson, Jr., Kevin Mitchell Anderson, Jonathan Scott Strength, Jacob Austin Strength, Jennifer Claire Etheridge, and Matthew Clay Etheridge, and two step-great-grandchildren, Eric Robert Fogg and Rachael Eve Fogg.

Graveside services will be held 1PM Friday, April 26, 2013 at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Mary’s Hospice, P.O. Box 6488, Athens, GA 30604.
