Trappeze Pub in Athens, Ga., Named One of the Best Beer Pubs in America

The designation was made by Draft magazine.

Trappeze Pub, the cozy corner place at West Washington and Hull street, is popular with residents, students, visitors, singles, families and everyone in between. The libations, the food, the coffee--it's all good.

Now Draft magazine, which covers the beer industry, has named Trappeze one of the best beer pubs in the country. It's one of three Georgia pubs on the list of 100 must-drink places for beer lovers across the country.

Here's what Draft says:

As craft beer has exploded, so has the number of incredible places that serve it. This list celebrates those special haunts with less than three locations and one passionate focus: beer. There might be darts and a jukebox or candlelight and a turntable; there might be five beers or 500. But in every spot on our list, you’ll find an excellent brew in your glass and people—staff, owners, barflies—who care about that as much as you do.
