ACC Police Search for Robbery Suspect

At 4:00pm, April 26, a woman from Lake Wellbrook Drive was inside Kroger at 191 Alps Road. While shopping, she was approached by a white female who attempted to take her purse. The Oconee County woman was able to wrestle the purse away from the suspect. She then notified store employees.

The suspect is described as a white female, brown hair (pulled back in a pony-tail), wearing sunglasses on her head, a black hooded shirt with a white shirt underneath, jeans and black flip-flops. The suspect was also described by one witness as having a large “mole” on her chin. She was last seen walking towards St. Mary’s Hospital from Kroger.
