Athens-Clarke County Police Department detectives are searching for the male in these photos, believing he is involved in shoplifting incidents that happened at Sears in Georgia Square Mall, on January 16 and 21. On the 16th, the suspect stole a flat screen TV. On the 21st, police officers tried to confront him at theventrance to Sears, but he fled on foot and was evaded capture. Sears wants to prosecute the suspected thief. Anyone with any information on the suspect’s identify should please call Detective Sean McCauley 706-353-4218 ext. 141.
