Armed with Stolen Gun, Man Arrested Outside Georgia Square Mall

On Saturday, December 28th, at approximately 8pm, a citizen observed a man in possession of a pistol outside the front entrance of Georgia Square Mall.
Officers made contact with the man and observed that he had a loaded handgun holstered underneath his jacket. They further learned the handgun had been reported stolen.
Officers identified the man as Perry Lamar Poore, 33, Sam Groves Street, Danielsville, GA.
Upon further investigation, authorities found that he had a quantity of methamphetamine. Poore was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Theft By Receiving Stolen Property, and Carrying A Concealed Weapon.
