Athens Police Search for Westside Peeping Tom

The offender is said to have no facial hair and possibly no hair on his head.

From August 2 until September 13, Athens Clarke County Police believe there have been at least five cases of peeping tom on and near Westchester Drive, according to a story in the Athens Banner Herald. There may have been more incidents that were detected.

The same slim, light-skinned colored black man has been seen outside people's homes. In one case, he was naked from the waist down and performing a sex act on himself, the story says. In another, he exposed himself to a woman and her children.

And police also believe, the story says, that the man went into a woman's house and touched her, then ran away when she screamed.

There is now a $1,000 reward because police believe he may escalate his behavior and commit an assault, the story says.

Anyone with information that can help police identify the man can  call 911 or contact Detective Chris Parker at (706)-613-3888, Ext. 789 or via email.
