Athens-Clarke County middle school teacher Joseph Weston LePage was arrested Wednesday after members of the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force discovered marijuana growing inside LePage’s residence.
Drug agents also found equipment used for indoor farming and some psilocybin, a hallucinogenic mushroom, according to Athens Online.
LePage, age 28 and a sixth-grade social studies teacher, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, felony possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I drug.

LePage was released from Clark County Jail Thursday afternoon after posting a bond of $8,000.
