Athens-Clarke PD: Indecent Exposer, Guns Stolen in Burglary, Riding Lawn Mower Snatched

ARREST

Officers responded to a complaint of indecent exposure in the 100 block of W Hancock Avenue around 10 a.m. on April 17. Witnesses advised a male was sitting on the sidewalk, wrapped in a blanket, masturbating. Officers located the offender near Hull Street and, after questioning, Quinton Lorenzo Moore, 34, homeless, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure.

BURGLARY

A homeowner reported his S Milledge Avenue residence burglarized between 6:30 a.m. April 17 and midnight April 18. TVs, a handgun, shotgun, and bicycle with a total value of $2,200 were stolen. He also reported his North Ave business burglarized between midnight April 14 and 12 p.m. April 17. Several checks were stolen and had been cashed. A suspect was named.

BURGLARY

A Vincent Drive residence was burglarized between 11 p.m. April 12 and 7:10 a.m. April 17. Nothing is known missing at this time

THEFT BY TAKING

Between 9 a.m. April 16 and 8 a.m. April 17, a riding lawn mower was stolen from a Danielsville Road residence. The mower is a CVT/Yardmaster, black in color, and valued at $1,000.
