Athens-Clarke Police: Burglar Was Being Held Against the Wall When Cops Arrived

Man was charged with attempted armed robbery and aggravated assault.

A man was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery and aggravated assault after police found him subdued by several people inside a Pepperidge Lane residence.

According to Athens-Clarke County Police, Patrouski Eshundo Hodges, 20, was armed with a gun, but was being held against the wall by a group of other people when police arrived.

An officer responded to a call around 11 p.m. March 30 and talked to a woman who said two burglars had entered the house, and one was still in the residence. Another person then came outside to call for the officer to come inside, where Hodges was found pinned against the wall.
