Twenty-five-year-old Charles Stephen Parker of Monroe after attending church and then dropping off a business partner in Athens.
His wallet, duffle bag and car were found in Athens shortly after he went missing, and then in an Oglethorpe County well on Feb. 21. Now, an autopsy has determined that he was shot to death, WXIA TV in Atlanta reports.
Officials identified Parker's body with a recognizable tattoo; they have not been able to determine an exact time of death, the station reports.
A for Parker is planned in Lithonia on Saturday.
