On Monday, authorities found the body of the 25-year-old assistant manager in Oglethorpe County, according to a story in the Athens Banner-Herald.

Jim Fullington, who's the head of the GBI's Athens field office, told the newspaper the death is a probable homicide. A local resident found the man's decomposing body in an abandoned well in Oglethorpe County's Sandy Cross community.
That's only a few miles from the Smithonia community, where authorities tracked his cell phone after he was reported missing, the Athens Banner-Herald story says.
