Furthermore, police found a bottle of liquor inside the red Mazda pick-up truck, the story says, and empty beer cans in the truck bed.

That pick-up truck, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department has discovered, is registered to a man in Cartersville.

The story also notes police have collected evidence at the home of the suspect's mother, who lives in Watkinsville, and his father, who resides in Lawrenceville.

The man's parents have hired an attorney in connection to the incident.
