Burglars Steal Ebenezer Baptist Community Center's Frozen Turkeys in Athens, Ga.
The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction
Though Thanksgiving has passed, the Ebenezer Baptist Community Center on North Chase Street had two frozen turkeys stolen during a burglary earlier this week, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police report.
A man who worked with the Community Center told police that he found the latch broken and the door pried open when he came to the community center later on Monday. The turkeys seemed to be the only things that had flown the coop, so to speak.
