Burglary Troubles on Riverbend Parkway, Almost $1500 worth of TVs Stolen

Several apartments at University apartments were broken into and had TVs stolen between 10 p.m. on Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police press release. 

Representatives of the apartments reported that $1350 worth of TVs had been stolen from the apartments located on the 500 block of Riverbend Parkway. 

Officers patrolling at Riverbend Club Apartments on Riverbend Parkway also reported that open windows were found. As the residents were not available, they were unable to determine if anything was missing.

Two residences were also burgled on Riverbend Parkway. One resident had her personal TV stolen along with a University Apartments TV. Her silver 2001 Audi A4 was also stolen, and is valued at $9,000.

Another resident had his lap top valued at $650 stolen.
