Clarke County Jail Inmate Dies As An Apparent Suicide
Westmoreland was pronounced dead around 6:30pm
Clarke County Jail inmate Ronson Tradd Westmoreland, 26, was found unresponsive in his cell late Thursday afternoon, and apparently had committed suicide, according to a story in the Athens Banner Herald.
He was found in his cell about 5:40pm, the story says. His death is being investigated by the Clarke County Coroner and by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
According to records, Westmorland was arrested on Aug. 25 in connection with a family dispute at Barrington Place home, according to court records.
