Cocaine, Hash Oil, Dope Prescriptions--These UGA Students Allegedly Sold It All

Athens Clarke County released the incident report on Wednesday.

Two University of Georgia students--one a senior--were arrested in connection with a Drug Task Force raid on a Prince Avenue house in July where one of the students lived.

According to a story in the Athens Banner Herald, Jefferson Daniell Hansford, 25, was charged with trafficking in drugs, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime.

Law enforcement officials had found in Hansford's house and seized cocaine, marijuana, prescription medication, hash oil, more than $6,300 cash, drug-packaging material and a revolver, the story says.

Also arrested was 24-year-old Clarence Lee Rhodes. The newspaper story says he was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. He was released from the Clarke County Jail on Friday on a $7,000 bond.
