Members of the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 287 Evans St on September 16. A quantity of cocaine was seized. Arrested were Camela Barbee and Shaquita Holland. They were charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute.
A Rolling Ridge Dr residence was burglarized between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on September 16. A TV valued at $600 was stolen. A witness saw three black males leave the residence with the TV. They left in a black truck.
A fence at Lowe Electrical Supply, 670 Hancock Industrial Way, was cut between 6 p.m. on September 14 and 6 a.m. on September 15. A tool box on a truck owned by a Colbert man was stolen. It contained hammers, a saw, drill, sockets, grinder, bolt cutters, chalk box, pry bar, crow bar, floor jack, chain saw sharpeners, tape measures, paint brushes, and assorted parts and tools. The total value was $1,625. This was reported on September 16.
