The number of thefts drop as the sudents leave.

 On 05/20/2011 at approximately 11 p.m., Tracy Elaine Cooper reported that while she was at her residence on Firewood Street,  two females arrived and began arguing with her son.  One female was in possession of a machete and the other a baseball bat.  When Ms. Cooper pushed her son out of the way, the females swung the machete and baseball bat several times at her without making contact.  Officers searched for the suspects but did not locate them. 

 Between 05/20/2011 at 5:30 p.m. and 05/21/2011 at 7:15 a.m., Athens Marine on Trade Street reported that someone took a utility trailer valued at $2,700.00.

 On 05/19/2011 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Frances Matonis Morocco reported that someone took her purse. She uploaded her groceries in her GMC Envoy. While she was returning the grocery cart to the Bell’s store on Hawthorne Avenue, her shoulder bag, with credit cards and personal items inside it, was taken from the vehicle.

 On 05/20/2011 between 3:00 a.m. and 8 a.m., Eleanor Galster reported her Chevrolet Equinox was entered on Davis Place.  An iPod valued at $100.00, a debit card, and $300.00 in cash were taken.  

 On 05/20/2011 between 7:45 a.m. and 8 a.m., Tamela Karol Crowe reported that her Ford 500 was entered at Wal-Mart on Lexington Road.  Four compact discs and two prescription pill bottles containing hydrocodone and flexoril were taken.
