Around 7:50 p.m. on June 20 officers responded to a burglary that had already occurred at a Weatherly Woods Drive residence. The occupants said several items had been stolen in the past. Most recently an antique cookie jar had been stolen. The cookie jar as well as an antique coin holder and Coca Cola tin trays were recovered. A 19-year-old family member was arrested and charged with burglary

On June 20 the Alcohol Compliance Unit conducted a series of enforcement checks at local establishments serving alcohol. Two people were cited for selling alcohol to people who were under 21. Citations went to Thomas Edward Wright at 8E’s Bar, 120 E Washington Street and David Shirley Popper at Jack’s Bar, 254 West Clayton Street. CORRECTION: The ACC Police Department said on June 22 that these citations were never issued.

A Jennings Mill Parkway residence was  burglarized between 2 p.m. on June 18 and 10 p.m. on June 19.  An X-box and a laptop were stolen. The total value was $900. This was reported on June 20.

Between 10 a.m. on June 19 and 5:20 p.m. on June 20, a Davis Street residence was burglarized. It is unknown at this time if anything is missing.

Between 1 a.m. and 9:35 a.m. on June 20, an air conditioner unit valued at $1,800 was stolen from a vacant Ashmore Drive residence.

An air conditioner unit valued at $1,500 was stolen from Athens-Clarke County Public Works on Spring Valley Road, between 4 p.m. on June 10 and 7 a.m. on  June 20.  

 The owner reported that an air conditioner condensing unit valued at $1,000 was stolen from a North Bluff Road location. The theft occurred between 10 a.m. on June 18 and 1 p.m. on June 20. A possible suspect was named.  

Two air conditioner units, with a value of $2,200, were stolen from a Pepperidge Lane residence. The theft occurred between 3 p.m. on June 18 and 11:30 a.m. on June 20.
