An entering auto arrest was made on July 22 at 7:35 a.m. Nicholas Jackson of a Carver Drive address was arrested and charged with entering auto. A witness had observed the crime in the area of Little Street and called police, who quickly located the offender and made the arrest. Stolen property was recovered.

On July 22 a Barnett Shoals resident reported that two computers and a PS3 were taken from her home. There was no sign of forced entry and a one hour time frame.

A Gaines School Road resident reported that on July 22 he came home and found the rear door of his home had been forced open. Someone took some jewelry.

A Monty Drive residence was reported to have been burglarized. The rear window had been broken out and several gaming systems were taken. A group of five to six male juveniles had been seen in the area prior to the burglary.

A Commerce Road resident stated that between July 18 and July 22, an unknown person or persons removed a washer, dryer, stove, freezer and several chairs from her screened-in porch.Β
