Between 6 p.m. on October 25 and 8 a.m. on October 26 a building owned by the Clarke County School District at 175 Alexander St was burglarized. Doors and windows were damaged. Tires valued at $50 were stolen.
A Club Drive residence was reported burglarized between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on October 25. A TV valued at $300 was stolen. The victim located the TV in nearby woods. This was reported October 26.
A Lone Star Road residence was burglarized between 7:50 a.m. and 12 noon on October 26. The residence was ransacked but nothing is known to be missing at this time.

A subwoofer and amplifier valued at $500 were stolen from a Lavender Lakes Drive. This burglary occurred between 3 p.m. on October 25 and 3:15 p.m. on October 26.
A Chesterton Drive residence was burglarized between 9:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on October 26. Jewelry, a TV, lap top, video game consoles, cell phone, and a pit bull puppy were stolen. The total value was $4,750. A witness saw a white Jeep pull into the back yard around 10 p.m. Two tall black males wearing dark hoodies were around the vehicle.

An officer on patrol discovered a utility room at property owned by WHITWORTH LAND CORP, 398 Dearing St, at 592 Oconee St had been burglarized. Metal had been stolen from the room. A door, part of a fence, and an air conditioner unit had also been stolen. The total value was $2,250.
Between 6 p.m. on October 25 and 9 a.m. on October 26 an air conditioner unit valued at $3,000 was stolen from a Cooper Springs Court location managed by Power Properties, 240 Sycamore Dr.
A woman borrowed a 1996 Ford Explorer from a friend. Between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on October 25, the vehicle was stolen from the woman’s Hickman Drive residence. A lookout for the vehicle was issued to other officers. Another officer located the vehicle a short time later It was occupied by two males. One fled on foot and was not located. The second, a 16-year old male, was detained. It was determined he did not have a driver’s license. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for transport to YDC. He was charged with Theft by Taking and Driving Without a License.
Around 3:10 p.m. on October 25 officers responded to a burglary attempt at a Barnett Shoals Road residence. The occupant said she was asleep when she awakened by someone kicking at her door. She looked out and saw a young black man wearing a dark colored sweatshirt kicking at the door. She screamed at him and he ran back toward a wooded area. Other residents reported seeing two young black men in the complex. One was taller, wearing a grey or black hoodie and white shoes. The other was heavier, wearing a white shirt and white shoes. Although officers were on scene within three minutes, they were unable to locate the suspects.
A Dell Avenue residence was burglarized between 8 p.m. and midnight on October 19. Video game consoles and games valued at $685 were stolen. This was not reported until October 25.
A Souht Milledge Ave residence was burglarized between midnight on October 23 and midnight on October 24. A video game console and books valued at $1,000 were stolen. A suspect was named. This was reported on October 25.
Between 5:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on October 25, a St .Andrews Court residence was burglarized. Video games, ball caps, and a wireless controller were stolen. The total value was $365.
A Colbert man advised he placed a bag containing a lap top and hand gun, total value $1,000, on the ground beside his vehicle while he loaded other items. He left without loading the case. The theft occurred between 8:35 a.m. and 9:05 a.m. on October 25.
An air conditioner unit valued at $5,000 was stolen from CUSTOM SERVICES, 696 Hancock Industrial Way, between 8:20 p.m. on October 24 and 6 a.m. on October 25.
Between 6 p.m. on October 24 and 5:30 p.m. on October 25 copper valued at $2,000 was removed from air conditioner units at a vacant Athens Rd residence owned by a Winter Circle resident.
Air conditioner units valued at $4,000 were stolen from Reed Street duplexes managed by Power Properties, 240 Sycamore Dr. The theft occurred between 8 a.m. on October 20 and 7 p.m. on October 25.
