 A Cross Creek Drive resident said he had gone to the mailbox. While there, he was approached by a man who punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.  Another suspect joined in the attack, stealing the resident’s wallet. The two fled. They are black men, one is 6-2, with a muscular build, wearing a white tank top and having an intricate tattoo on his upper right arm and shoulder. The second is described as 5-9, with a muscular build, approximately 20 years old. The resident was treated for his injuries at the hospital the following day.

A Jonas Avenue residence was entered through an unlocked rear door and a 42” plasma HD television was stolen.

A Hunters Run Road residence was entered through an unlocked rear door and two televisions were stolen.

A Chardonay Street residence was entered, possibly with a key. A gold ring, DVD camcorder and an I-Pod were taken, and a glass table top was taken outside and destroyed. A suspect, who had previously lived at that residence, was contacted and during the investigation, he admitted to breaking the glass table top. Dontell Garcia Mitchell, 25, was arrested and charged with Criminal Damage-Family Violence.

The rear door of a Marlborough Downs residence was kicked in and a Sony flat-screen TV was stolen.

A Kirby Lane residence was entered through a broken window and a 42” flat-screen TV, an X-Box Game System, laptop computer and a blue Pit Bull puppy were stolen

Witnesses in the Country Corners mobile home pack saw a young man trying to pry open a window on a trailer. When the young man saw the witnesses, he fled. The suspect was seen running into a nearby residence, and was later identified. The 12-year old suspect was not located, but afterwards he was identified and a juvenile complaint was filed.

A Highland Park Drive resident found a rear window broken where someone had unsuccessfully attempted to enter her home. Nothing was found to be missing.

An unlocked vehicle was entered while it was parked on Sandalwood Drive, and a wallet and its contents were stolen.

An unlocked vehicle was entered while it was parked at Publix at 1860 Barnett Shoals Road. A bottle of prescription medication was stolen.

A man was traveling east on Cedar Shoals Drive while operating his 1994 BMW. Two juveniles were also eastbound on Cedar Shoals Drive in the bicycle lane. As the driver approached, the two cyclists turned left into the path of his vehicle. The vehicle struck the rear tire of the second bicycle, and the 10-year-old female rider was knocked off the bike. She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries
