Members of the Drug Task Force, assisted by the West Burglary Suppression Unit, CCI Property, Financial Crimes Unit, and State Probation Officers, executed a search warrant at 185 Ramble Hills Circle. A shotgun which had been reported stolen, digital scales, and a quantity of marijuana were seized. Tishauwn Mahaffey, 21, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
A Benjamin Drive residence was burglarized between 10 p.m. on November 17 and 8 a.m. on November 18. The residence was ransacked. Nothing is known missing at this time.


A Commerce Road residence was burglarized between 8:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on November 18. A rifle valued at $700 was stolen. 


Around 4:45 p.m. on November 18 a mail carrier noticed an open door at a Terrell Drive residence. Officers cleared the residence and found it had been ransacked. It appears a TV and computer equipment may have been stolen. Contact was not made with the owner so this cannot be confirmed. The investigation continues.  

A TV, video game systems and games, and laptops valued at $1,238 were stolen from a Stonehenge Way residence. This occurred between 1 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on November 18.

A man told police he returned to his Cavalier Road residence around 4:45 p.m. on November 18. As he entered, he heard a noise in the back part of the house. He exited the front door and called police. While standing in front of the house he saw two juvenile men come around the house from the back. He described one as around 12 years of age, wearing a yellow or light green t-shirt. There was no description of the second male. The homeowner’s sister attempted to follow the suspects in her vehicle but lost contact with them in the area of Cavalier Road and Huntington Road. She described the second suspect as approximately 7 years of age, heavy set, wearing a gray polo type shirt and jeans. Nothing is known to be missing from the residence.

A woman reported jewelry valued at $2,300 stolen from her South Milledge Avenue residence between 12 noon on October 1 and 12 noon on November 16.

A Bogart woman reported that an air conditioner unit valued at $2,000 was stolen from a Pittard Road residence between 3 p.m. on November 17 and 7 a.m. on November 18.

A Bogart resident reported air conditioner units stolen from three North Bluff Road locations and one Sir Scott Road location between 8 a.m. on November 16 and 10 p.m. on November 18. The total value was $9,000.
