A vacant Calvin Street residence was entered and a stove and refrigerator were taken and an A/C unit was damaged.

Someone entered a Royal Court residence and took a TV, playstation and mirror were taken.

Officers responded to a burglary alarm at Athens Commercial Tire on Old Monroe Rd. and discovered a burglary. While investigating the burglary officers had contact with a suspect, Jordan Wade Perry, at a nearby location. Perry admitted to the burglary and was charged.

A woman reported that on Sept. 1 at about 9 p.m., she was raped by a person known to her. The victim stated the suspect was at her residence when the assault occurred. This incident occurred in the eastern part of the county.

On Sept. 2, at about 10:30 p.m., a man was delivering food in the area of 225 Sussex Dr. He was asked if he could make change for a $50 when he was accosted by two males who pointed a metal item at him and took cash and his cell phone. The suspects fled on foot.

An air conditioner unit valued at $1,500 was stolen from a Camak Dr residence.

Β An air conditioner unit valued at $1,500 was stolen from a Lavender Rd residence.

Β A representative of Nationstar Mortgage reported that an air conditioner unit valued at $7,000 was stolen from a Roberts Rd residence.
