Crime Blotter--a pesky cell phone and thefts

Around 9:10am on March 12, a Sherwood Drive woman, driving a 1997 Saab, was south bound on Jennings Mill Road.  As she approached the Dowdy Road intersection, her cell phone rang.  When she looked down at her phone, her vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.  She was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center.  She was also cited for Distracted Driver 

 Between 11pm on  March 11 and 9am on March 12, a Mabry Drive residence was burglarized.  A handgun and jewelry with a total value of $650 were stolen.

A woman reported that her Garnet Ridge Drive residence was burglarized between 1pm and 4pm on March 12.  A video game system, video games, and controllers were stolen.  The total value was $350.
