Crime Blotter--a rash of burglaries during the holidays.

Around 8:40 a.m. on November 27, officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle being stuck on a trail that leads to Pauldoe from Hawthorne Ext. Upon their arrival, the vehicle was gone. They followed the trail to the former Strong Day Recovery, 245 Hawthorne Ext. The officers found that the building had been forcibly entered and copper wiring had been pulled from the walls. Wall air conditioner units had also been pulled from the walls and copper wiring removed. The value of the wiring is unknown. The vehicle was described only as a newer 4-door black vehicle driven by a female.  

A Preserve Drive residence was burglarized between 12 noon on November 20 and 10 a.m. on November 27.Shoes, laptops, hard drive, cash, TV, clock, and camera were stolen. The total value was $2,990.

A Cleveland Road residence was burglarized between 2:30 on November 25 and 12 noon on November 27. A TV, rifles, shot gun, and fire safe were stolen. The total value was $3,627. A witness saw a dark pickup truck with two occupants in his driveway on Sunday. No further descriptions were given of the truck or its occupants. 

Between 10 p.m. on November 26 and 9 a.m. on November 27 a Springdale Street residence was burglarized. TVs valued at $551 were stolen.

TVs valued at $825 were stolen from a Davis Street residence between 12 noon on November 22 and 12 noon on November 27. 

A Dearing Street resident she realized her house had been burglarized. Officers responded and checked the residence. Nothing is known to be missing. This occurred between 5 p.m. on November 25 and 5 p.m. on November 27. 

A North Billups Street residence was burglarized between 12 noon on November 22 and 6:25 p.m. on November 27. A printer valued at $50 was stolen.

Between 6 p.m. on November 20 and 9 a.m. on November 27 a Lakeside Drive residence was burglarized. A video game console and games, DVDs, TV, USB cables, camera, helmet, and DVD player were stolen. The total value was $1,060. 

A North Billups St residence was burglarized between 1:30 p.m. on November 20 and 6:45 p.m. on November 27. Laptops, TV, video games systems, change, and liquor were stolen. The total value was $1,425.
