Crime Blotter: Armed Robbery, Theft

The clerk at the Golden Pantry, 245 Epps Br Rd, said a black man entered the store around 9:35pm on September 30. The man approached the counter, pointed a gun at the clerk, tossed him a bag and demanded money. The clerk gave the robber an unspecified amount of money and the suspect exited the store. He was last seen fleeing on foot. The suspect was described as 5’8” to 5’10”, slender build. He wore a blue hoodie with the hood pulled down over the top of his face. A bandana covered his face from the bridge of his nose down. He also wore red gloves.

A man reported that his North Bluff Road residence was burglarized between 5:30pm and 9:30pm on September 30. TVs and a cell phone were stolen. The values are unknown for the TVs; the cell phone was valued at $200.

Between 3:30pm on September 30 and 12:30am on October 1 a North Bluff Road residence was burglarized. Jewelry valued at $300 was stolen.

A vehicle was entered between 9pm on September 29 and 5:30pm on September 30 while it was parked at the owner's Inverness Rd residence. A laptop and CD player were stolen. The total value was $470.
