Crime Blotter--Burglars Make Off with Laptops, TV's and Game Systems

Between 12 noon and 4pm on Jan. 26, a woman reported that her residence on Lakeover Drive was burglarized. A TV valued at $500.00 was taken out of the house. A backpack blower valued at $277.00, a lawn edger valued at $300.00, and a chainsaw valued at $303.00 were taken out of the shed. She reported her 2006 Ford Explorer was also taken. A suspect was named in the report.

Between 7:15pm on Jan. 26 and 6am on Jan. 27, a woman reported that her residence on Westwood Drive was burglarized. Two laptop computers valued at $1,550.00, two TVs valued at $900.00, and a Wii game system and video games valued at $260.00 were taken.

Between 2:30am and 5am on Jan. 27, a woman reported that electronic items were taken from her apartment. A large party was taking place in the area with several people going in and out of her apartment. A laptop computer valued at $1,400.00, an iPhone valued at $300.00, and a Wii game system valued at $200.00 were taken.
Between Jan. 25 at 10pm and Jan. 26 at 6:50am, a woman reported that her residence on Spring Valley Road was burglarized while she was sitting on her couch asleep. There was no evidence that entry was gained by force. Prescription medication, $4.00 in U.S. currency, a check card, and an identification card were taken.

Between 8am and 11am on Jan. 26, a woman reported that her residence on Highland Park Drive was burglarized. A laptop computer valued at $500.00 and a TV valued at $800.00 were taken. The TV was located in the woods near the apartment complex by officers. Three suspects were named in the report.

Between 11am and 5pm on Jan. 24, a woman reported that her residence on E. Broad Street was burglarized. Cell phone chargers valued at $50.00 were taken.
