Around 8:30pm on December 6th, six officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Colleton Drive. Contact was made with a vehicle near Timothy Rd. At the same time, a call was received about a burglary in progress at a McHenry Drive residence owned by an Albany man. The vehicle occupants were detained and officers responded to the burglary. Witnesses said a vehicle stopped near the neighbor’s residence. Two males got out and walked behind the residence and then left through a wooded area.  The witness’s description of the vehicle was the same as the one stopped by officers on Colleton.  Investigation revealed an attempt had been made to enter the residence and a shed behind the residence had been entered. Contact was not made with the owner so it is unknown if anything is missing. Stacey Dale Morton, 42, Evans Street, Takia Monique Jordan, 18, Beech Haven Dr; and Shane Eugene Ivester, 19, Beech Haven Dr, were arrested and charged with burglary.

 Officers responded to an alarm at a Ridgeview Drive residence around 10:20pm on December 6. Someone tried to get in but wasn’t successful.

 Between 6 pm on September 15 and 6 pm on November 28 a washer valued at $300 was stolen from a vacant Scandia Circle residence owned by Tammy Watkins of Puerto Rico.  This was reported on December 6. 

A Fairlane Drive residence was burglarized between 8:10am and 3:15 pm on December 6. Laptops and bags valued at $1,650 were stolen. A witness reported seeing a silver Nissan truck with three occupants in the area around 12 noon. One occupant was described as a white male wearing camouflage.

Around 6:30pm on December 6 officers responded to an alarm at a Skyline Parkway residence. Upon arrival, officers found someone had forced entry.  The residence was cleared and no suspects were found. A TV valued at $1,000 had been stolen. 

 A Tawnyberry Drive residence was reportedly burglarized between 10 p.m. on December 5 and 9 a.m. on December 6. A purse, wallet, and passport valued at $500 were stolen  A vehicle was also entered; nothing is known missing.  

 Between 5 p.m. on December 4 and 8 am. on December 5, air conditioner units valued at $6,000 were stolen from the roof of a West Broad Street building managed by Sumner Properties, 650 Oglethorpe Ave.
